A l’heure de dresser le bilan annuel et de délivrer aux plus méritants nos bons points, un constat s’impose d’emblée : 2008 aura été une année particulièrement riche en découvertes. Parmi les dix albums que la rédaction a retenus, la moitié sont des premières œuvres, des promesses pour demain... Autre fait marquant : le ton général des disques sélectionnés colle à la morosité ambiante, avec comme diamant noir le troisième album de Portishead, un des rares groupes établis, grand rescapé aux antécédents musicaux déjà conséquents qui n’accuse pas le poids des années.
